Caunton airfield is located in Nottinghamshire, 4 nautical miles north west of Newark on Trent


Runway 21 is the preferential runway when there is a tailwind component of 5 knots or less and the runway is dry

Circuits for runways 03 and 29 are left hand, circuits for runways 21 and 11 are right hand

Pilots should join the circuit through the overhead at a height of 1000 feet QFE

Pilots should then descend via the deadside and join the appropriate runway at a circuit height of 500 feet QFE

Straight in approaches are not allowed

Departing aircraft should not climb above height 300 feet QFE until they have cleared the circuit
