Notes
Light aircraft and gliders operate on the aerodrome with occasional non-radio traffic
Overhead joins are not permitted
Pilots should avoid overflying local houses as well as the villages of Andreas and Bride
Warnings
Runway surface may have large, loose stones
Taxiways are extremely stoney and only open to aircraft based at Andreas
Vehicle access to the airfield is strictly controlled due to the easy access to runways
Rotor winds may be present north of runway 24
Pilots should beware of possible rotor winds coming off of hills to the north of runway 24
Beware of possible equine activity in and around the airfield
When gliding is in operation (usually but not limited to Sundays) beware of launching up to 1800 feet
Andreas is not a designated entry point to the Isle of Man, you should notify special branch at least 12 hours prior to your arrival
