Circuits
Circuits for fixed wing aircraft are left hand at a height of 1000 feetQFE
Helicopter circuits are at a height of 700 feet QFE, and are left hand on runway 10 and right hand on runway 28
Overhead joins are not allowed- pilots should join the downwind leg of the circuit in use
Pilots should avoid the drop zone and the area in the undershoot of runway 28 whenever parachuting is in progress
Helicopters should not operate within the ATZ and should check with the controller that no parachuting is in progress before engaging rotors

Free fall parachuting occurs frequently up to FL150
The parachuting drop zone is located 300 metres north east of the runway 28 threshold
Rotary wing aircraft are to obtain clearance prior to engaging rotors
All aircraft are to contact Headcorn radio prior to taxi
Aircraft departing runway 10/28 should climb to 500 feet QFE before turning, keeping clear of built up areas
Pilots should avoid overflying nearby villages
