Runway 34 is the preferential runway when there is a tailwind component of 5 knots or less and the runway is dry

No take-offs permitted on the main airstrip between 1400 and 1700 hours on Sundays during April-September

Occasional military helicopter activity on weekdays

Helicopters are to land/hover at the northern end only using helicopter pad H

Occasional large model flying activities, especially at the weekends

High ground is located 3 nautical miles to the north west of the airfield up to 1750 feet QNH

Terrain induced sink immediately prior to the runway 34 threshold. Do not land short of the runway

Landings are normally made from the south for runway 34 which gives an unobstructed approach
