Microlights operate a smaller circuit at a height of 600 feet QFE
No orbits within the circuit, pilots should either extend their downwind or go around

Pilots should avoid overflying Alderbury and local villages
No straight in approaches
Arrival Procedures
When the Boscombe Down/Middle Wallop MATZ is active, aircraft should route abeam to the Alderbury VRP
If landing on runway 06, Route west of alderbury and join a right base east of the cathederal
If landing on runway 24 route to the east of alderbury and join a left base
When the MATZ is not active, circuit joins may be requested subject to parachuting
Departure Procedures
Aircraft should fly runway heading and climb to height 500 feet QFE before turning crosswind
When the MATZ is active pilots should fly a crosswind leg direct to abeam Alderbury (opposite of the arrival routes) not above height 800 feet QFE and only change to the enroute frequency when abeam Alderbury
When the MATZ is not active, standard overhead departures may be requested subject to parachuting
Notes
High intensity low lying fixed wing and helicopter flights in the vicinity of the area
No overhead joins when parachuting is in progress
When Boscombe Down MATZ is active, all go arounds should be to the north of the airfield
Helicopters should call prior to starting rotors
D127 is located 2 nautical miles to the north east of the aerodrome
Parachuting occurs at the aerodrome up to FL150 on public holidays and thursdays to sundays
