Arrivals
From Meldrum TV Mast VRP route, track 130 degrees to zone entry point at Cainmyre Wind turbine, 1 nautical mile north west of Oldmeldrum. Clearance in zone is not above 1200 feet QNH. Airfield is 3.6 miles on track 128 degrees from Cairnmyre Wind turbine with another prominent wind turbine 0.6 nautical miles south of the field. After landing advise Aberdeen Approach. If no two way radio contact on ground then call Aberdeen Flight Clearance
Departures
If no contact with Aberdeen Approach on 119.055 on ground, remain below 1200 feet QNH within airfield circuit until two way communication established with Aberdeen Approach. If unable to achieve two way communication, return to Whiterashes and telephone ATC to advise this. Remain below 1200 QNH or other altitude as cleared by ATC, to track 308 degrees to Cairnmyre wind turbine, then track 310 degrees to Meldrum TV Mast VRP

Agricultural work takes place up to runway edges. Grass cutting peridoically during summer months
Limitied availability to visitors between October and April due to water logging. Runways 18/36 and 10/28 west of intersection generally unusable during this period
30 foot trees are located at the runway 28 threshold
Pilots should expect windshear on short final to runway 28 during moderate northwesterly winds
