Circuits
Fixed wing circuits are left hand at a height of 1000 feet QFE

Joining aircraft are to not descend below 1300 feet QFE on the deadside due to the rotary wing circuits
Noise Abatement Procedures
Runway 16 departures: To avoid overflying Highgate Farm situated left of the extended centreline, all aircraft are to maintain runway track until abeam the Highgate Farm before turning into the fixed wing circuit pattern or on route as required
No practice engine failure after take off on runway 34 until past Whittimere Farm, 1000 meters beyond the end of runway or 1 DME WOL
Pilots are to avoid overflying the school located 250 meters south of the disused runway 10/28 centerline
Notes
Only runway 16/34 is licensed for night usage
Runway 16/34 has a shallow depression on the eastern edge of the runway, close to the runway 34 PAPIs and this will hold water after periods of rainfall
The runway 16/34 shallow depression crosses the runway north of the runway 34 threshold
Taxy speeds are to be kept to a minimum. Parts of taxiway A are undulating and pilots are to take special care by the pedestrian crossing opposite the control tower
Runway 04/22 use is restricted to non jet aircraft less than 2 tonnes
Hovering helicopters shall maintain a distance of 60 meters from any active runway or taxiway except with AFIS approval
Helicopters taxiing to the fuel pads are asked to operate their aircraft so as to minimise the effect of their downdraft on the nearby hangars
Helicopters are not to hover within 50 meters of the NDB/DME masts
