Pilots operating to the north of the aerodrome outside of the ATZ are advised to contact Cambridge Approach

Runway 24L is the preferential runway when there is a tailwind component of 5 knots or less and the runway is dry

Standard overhead joins are not permitted and there is no deadside

Avoid all built up areas in and around the Duxford ATZ including Duxford village and all villages to the north of Duxford

Avoid overflying Linton Zoo, located 5 nautical miles to the east, below altitude 2500 feet QNH, as well as the bird sanctuary

Simultaneous runway operations and land after procedures are not allowed

No overhead, deadside or crosswind joins

All traffic should join via the southerly downwind leg

Taxiways are suitable for aircraft with a maximum wingspan of 40 meters

High performance aircraft often join via a run and break manouvre into the Northerly circuit. Priority will be given to such aircraft

Fowlmere airfield is located to the west of the aerodrome

For traffic departing from runway 24, you should not turn right until you have passed Fowlmere or are at or above altitude 2000 feet QNH
