Notes
Due to hgih ground to the left of the approach to runway 21, pilots must establish on the runway centreline before descending on the PAPI glidepath
Approaches to runway 03 are not permitted if the runway 03 PAPIs are out of service
Simulated engine failure on departure for runway 26 is not permitted
When approaching to land on any runway, all aircraft shall intercept the final approach track at least 2nm away and shall not descend below the PAPI indicated approach
All propeller aircraft shall climb straight ahead to 500 feet and jets to 1000 feet
Pilots should not commence any turns until having passed the aerodrome boundary
Departing aircraft from runway 26 shall climb straight ahead to 2 nautical miles before commencing any turn
Windshear may be encountered on short final to runway 08 when wind is coming from the southeast
Pilots should beware that radio communication reception is poor below 3000 feet QFE due to screening by high ground to the north
Pilots should not enter IOM airspace without clearance
Pilots departing runway 21 should beware that kite surfing may occur in the vicinity of the climb out
