Noise Abatement
Pilots should avoid overflying all farm buildings adjacent to the extended centrelines of the runways
Pilots should keep clear of Thorpe Salvin village located 1 nautical mile to the north west of the aerodrome
Pilots should also avoid overflying Shireoaks on left base for runway 24 and Whitwell on the downwind for runways 06 and 24
Notes
Runways 06, 24 and 36 have displaced thresholds due to their proximity to public roads
Any pliots whose approach will take them below a height of 20 feet QFE above any public road must initiate an immediate missed appraoch
Pilots should beware of three wind turbines that are located on the north west boundary of the airfield up to a height of 430 feet QFE
