NewcastleHeliport is located under the Newcastle CTA and as such you need to be in contact with Newcastle Approach above 500ft

Blind calls should be made on 118.075 which is not always staffed

All arrivals and departures should be from the centre of the grassed heli landing area directly to the river and vice versa. Care should be taken not to overfly the surrounding built up areas

Departures should contact Newcastle Approach before reaching 500 feet AGL
