Oxford Approach (INT) is always manned and arriving aircraft should contact Oxford Approach on 125.090.

Runway 19 is the preferential runway when there is a tailwind component of 5 knots or less and the runway is dry

There are no SIDs/STARs for Oxford, however, there are Noise Abatement Procedures to follow.

Fixed Wing aircraft circuit height is 1500ft (QNH), 1200ft (QFE).

Helicopter Circuit Height is 1000ft (QNH), 700ft (QFE).

Runway 01 is a right-hand circuit and 19 is a left-hand circuit.

IFR departures and arrivals will be issued a specified routing by ATC.

South (RFL FL195-): BUGUP – DILAX – KENET

Arrivals outside CAS are to plan via the OX NDB.

North: HON/PEPUL – BUGUP – OX

East: CPT/KENET – BUGUP – OX

South: CPT/KENET – BUGUP – OX

West: MALBY – OX

• VFR departures and arrivals will be provided with Basic Service.
• IFR departures and arrivals will be provided with Procedural Service. Pilots are reminded that delays may be expected in order to separate from other IFR flights.
• The Oxford ATZ is a 2NM radius, with a 2000ft upper limit

Local Squawks:

Standard VFR departures should Squawk 4520 and must not fly above 2000 feet on QNH until passing 5NM from the aerodrome unless instructed by ATC.

Frequency Monitoring Squawks vary from 4501 to 4516. Squawking 4717 can be used, however, Oxford Approach will make blind calls in order to gather intentions/routings.

Pilots operating 5NM from the Brize Norton may choose to listen to Brize Zone Radar, 119.00 and squawk 3727.
