Circuits operate to the north of the airfield at a height of 800 feet QFE
Runway 28 and 08 circuits should remain north of the A303
A permanent deadside is located on the south side of the airfield
Overhead joins are preferred at a height of 2000 feet QFE if cloudbase allows
Notes
The approach to runway 26 and 08 is offset, pilots on approach to runway 26 should avoid overflying the filling station
No touch and goes on runway 26
Runups for runway 26 must be made before climbing the slope to the runway 26 threshold
The slope is under the short final for runway 26 and must be kept clear
After takeoff on runway 26 fly straight ahead until passing the end of the runway before turning onto a track of 275 degrees, climbing over the grain silos, pilots should overflying the houses located on the extended centreline for runway 08
Pilots departing runway 21 should climb straight ahead to altitude 1000 feet QNH before turning onto track
Pillots approaching to land on runway 08 should approach over the silos. A call of ‘final’ over the silos is normal
Pilots departing runway 08 should avoid overflying the filling station
Runway 03 has a marked downslope and is approached over trees on the southern side of the A303
Parking is located to the east of the clubhouse. The area to the south of the clubhouse is reserved for resident microlights
