This is a guide for the installation of ACARs for the Aviation Sim UK Virtual Airline.

Firstly you need to download the ACARs folder from here

If you are using XPlane then you need to copy the AcarsConnect folder (that is found in the X-plane folder) and paste it into your plugins folder (found in X-Plane 11/Resources/plugins).

Next, open the acars.exe application, it will automatically take you to the settings page.

You then need to insert http://va.aviationsim.co.uk/ as the phpVMS url

You need to insert your API key which can be found on your profile page on the VA website.

it may ask you to run make runways, this can be downloaded from here

Make sure to choose the simulator you are going to use for your flight as well as the folder pathway and then you are all set and ready to fly.
